Mend a sock with a knitted patch

a quick mend for holes in handknitted socks
Mend a sock - mending knitted sock with a patch

This mending technique is fast and straightforward, plus unlike darning, it’s stretchy and elastic. It also gives plenty of opportunity for visible mending creativity. This video tutorial teaches how to mend a sock using a knitted patch, and compares the finished mend with a traditional darn.
