Here's a handy knitting needle size conversion chart chart for metric (mm), US and UK sizes
All of our original knitting patterns list both metric and US sizes, and this chart lists all sizes for those occasions where you need to convert between systems. Use the search bar to quickly find the size you need.
Metric knitting needle sizes in millimetres are most commonly sold in the UK and in Europe. UK sizes are less used today, but you’ll see these when making projects from vintage knitting patterns, or using older needles.
