Sagittate

Sagittate is a cowl featuring a bold geometric lace pattern that resembles arrow heads and the pointed shape of Sagittate leaves. It’s knit in the round in gorgeous hand-dyed merino sport-weight yarn, which shows off the three textures featured: garter stitch, rib, and lace.

Features

  • Geometric lace pattern

  • Knitted in the round

Yarn

Sport-weight yarn

Featured Yarn:The Urban Purl Merino Sporty (100% merino wool, 262m/287yd per 100g hank)
1 hank in shade Hot Gossip

The featured yarn is a hand-dyed sport-weight Merino wool which is tightly spun with lots of bounce. You could substitute a DK or fingering-weight yarn instead of the sport-weight. When knit to the specified gauge, fingering-weight yarn would produce a drapier cowl; whereas DK would be more robust.
